first cited: [heralds-b#138]

The Worm God is a deity, described in play as long-dead, venerated within a hidden crypt beneath Snakecross, the domain of Baroness Bella. [heralds-b#139 · heralds-b#152]

Overview

The Worm God's crypt is served by priests, and the deity is said to have a "Scion" — a monstrous offspring born of the crypt's energies. [heralds-b#138 · heralds-b#139]

The game master separated the Worm God's tunnels and cult from the broader war narrative, tying them exclusively to Snakecross and Baroness Bella. [heralds-b#152]

As a result, the Worm God's crypt has no connection to the Winter War or to Swanhall's fall; it stands as a local, self-contained mystery within the Baroness's domain. [heralds-b#152 · heralds-b#153]
