Mila is the sorcerer of the Heralds of the Cycle, remembered by the game master as its best-loved and youngest member. ^{[heralds-a#107 · heralds-a#138]} She is a member of the party and is alive. ^{[owner-form-2026-09-17]} Unlike the rest of the party, Mila is a non-player character: she is run by the game master rather than by a player. ^{[owner-form-2026-09-17]}

The ritual in the port

When the party entered Rosereach through the port, Mila stayed behind to study the markings and symbols of the first ritual the party found aboard a ship there — a ritual made by Naevys Duskbloom. Caelion stayed there with her. ^{[heralds-a#107]}

Death and resurrection at Deadreach

During the party's final push into Deadreach, Mila died and was brought back using the Golden Flower. ^{[heralds-a#144]} The Golden Flower was completed and then plucked, and the temple housing it collapsed soon after. ^{[heralds-a#144]} Her return was not an ordinary resurrection: she is now described as the Golden Flower's living trace, which makes her a dangerous and valuable figure to alchemists, the Arcanum, divine powers, and figures such as Naevys Duskbloom. ^{[heralds-a#149]}

In play

In a field report the party's paladin, Lucerion, submitted to the Temple, Mila — addressed in the report as "Baroness Mila" — is described as having made contact with a drifting fragment of glacial ice and experienced a vision linked to "Kelruun, the Ice-Bound Tyrant." ^{[heralds-b#446]} The same report credits her with dealing heavy fire-magic damage against a Six-Armed Creature, forcing its retreat; the creature was later destroyed after returning to its own realm. ^{[heralds-b#446]}
