Overview

The duchy was originally named the Duchy of Silvermere and was later renamed Moonward. ^{[last-winter#11]} The county of Graymond, seat of a very large city, lies within Moonward Duchy. ^{[last-winter#19]}

The Winter War

During the Winter War, a group of elves who had escaped an ambush fled south into the lands of Moonward. ^{[heralds-b#257]} Moonward soldiers, together with Legion forces, have long held the cliffs near Rosereach against the Winter Forces. ^{[last-winter#779]}
