The Roseguard is a guard order that once protected Rosereach, remembered in the ruins of Deadreach both by name and by the knights who wore its colors. [heralds-a#103]
Overview
One of its knights, his own name forgotten, is remembered in the tunnels beneath the ruined city as the Lion of Rosereach. [heralds-a#103] Decades earlier, when a dark elf broke into the vault behind Petal Gate and tried to carry off its sacred flower, Roseguards gave chase; she was forced to abandon the bloom itself, though she got away with a fragment of its root. [heralds-a#128] A single Roseguard knight is customarily attached to a garrison or army as the order's sole representative, a pattern held to whether the posting is a heavily fortified outpost or a lightly defended rural town. Unconfirmed ideas
The source conversations contain proposals for Roseguard that the campaign owner never confirmed. They are collected on Idea:Roseguard so they cannot be mistaken for canon.
