Ekrem asked for this NPC by describing an archivist who wants into a museum and is turned away; ^{[last-winter#470]} the resulting write-up was given the name Cedric Thorne. ^{[last-winter#471]} Ekrem then asked for the name to be changed, ^{[last-winter#472]} and the archivist has been carried forward under the name Aldric Vale since. ^{[last-winter#473 · last-winter#479]}
