Golden Rose
Kept atFlower Vault, beneath Deadreach (formerly Rosereach)
happened in play
first cited: [heralds-a#144]

The sources say little about this yet. Everything known is on this page; add to it as the campaign continues.

The Golden Rose, also called the Golden Flower, is a holy flower that stood in the temple of the Flower Goddess beneath the ruined city of Deadreach. [heralds-a#149]

Overview

The flower was kept in an underground vault at the heart of the Flower Goddess's temple below the city. [heralds-a#149] It was completed, and then used to bring the sorcerer Mila back to life after she died fighting the Reminder. [heralds-a#144 · heralds-a#149] Once it had been used, the flower was plucked from its place, and the temple around it collapsed. [heralds-a#144 · heralds-a#145]

Little else is documented about the flower's history before this event.

Players, stop here. What is hidden behind this point is game-master material. The full detail is on GM:Golden Rose.

The Resurrection of Mila

Mila died during the party's fight against the Reminder beneath Rosereach. [heralds-a#144] She was brought back to life through the completed Golden Rose. [heralds-a#144 · heralds-a#149] She is now regarded as the flower's living trace. [heralds-a#145]

Unconfirmed ideas

The source conversations contain proposals for Golden Rose that the campaign owner never confirmed. They are collected on Idea:Golden Rose so they cannot be mistaken for canon.
