Overview

Old Iceverf is treated as a city in its own right rather than a mere cellar under Iceverf — an old set of ruins with a history that predates the city above it. ^{[heralds-a#3]} It is full of restless undead who wait to rise again. ^{[heralds-b#444 · heralds-a#3]} The skeletons that fill it cannot pass through walls, but they can walk along the ceilings, gather in hordes, and return to unlife over time even after being put down. ^{[heralds-a#3]}

Access

A man-made tunnel — distinct from the older passages that simply run beneath the walls — connects Iceverf to Old Iceverf. It was found through a hidden gate behind one of the prisoner cells in a den once raided by the city's authorities. ^{[heralds-b#444]}
