Overview

Before he fell, Silvan Ursa killed the son of the Summer Elves' ruling leader. ^{[last-winter#643]} His death sparked a vendetta that fed the wider Winter Campaign. ^{[last-winter#644]} Later campaign material recorded the same event: Silvan Ursa died in the battle, taking the Summer Elf leader's son with him. ^{[last-winter#657 · last-winter#658]}

Some later campaign material names the fallen youngest son of House Ursa "Thalen Ursa" rather than Silvan Ursa, with an identical fate — killed in this battle after slaying a Summer Elf noble.
