The Six Pillars are the six structures that in fact govern the Aenarch Empire. ^{[owner-form-2026-09-17]} The Empire has no reigning emperor and its Senate rules only in name, so the pillars — not the throne — are where imperial authority actually rests. ^{[last-winter#5 · owner-form-2026-09-17]}

Needs a decision: Whether the Faith Pillar named in the transcripts is one of the six imperial pillars, or a structure internal to the Legion that happens to share the word. The sources describe it only as the Legion's pillar; the count of six comes from the campaign owner.^{[last-winter#856 · last-winter#864]}

The Faith Pillar

The Faith Pillar is the foundation of the Legion's faith. ^{[last-winter#856]} Samael rules over everything belonging to it, and he is one of the three rulers of the Eternal Legion; he is also the author of the Legion's Blood-brother system. ^{[last-winter#856]}

The pillar has a chain of authority that reaches from the regencies to the capital. Each Regency holds one Kardinal, seated in the Legion castle of the regency capital. ^{[last-winter#856]} Above them stands the Lord of Blood, the highest-ranking person of the Pillar of Faith in the Legion, who resides at Basalth Fortress in the capital of the Empire. ^{[last-winter#864]} Above him again sits the Triumvirate, the three who rule the Legion: the undying human fighter Legio, Sariel Fellsun, and an unnamed Great Old One. ^{[last-winter#864]} When a matter is grave enough, the Lord of Blood may lay it before the other lords, and they may decide to carry it to Sariel — or he may take that initiative himself. ^{[last-winter#864]}
