Lord of Blood is the highest-ranking officer of the Legion's Faith Pillar. ^{[last-winter#864]} He resides at Basalth Fortress in the imperial capital. ^{[last-winter#864]}

Queen of Fall Lands

Queen of Fall Lands is a ruler whose lands' remnants the Frost Prince's forces sought to destroy, and which Tevelyn tried to protect. ^{[heralds-a#81]}

Regency (Iceverf Governance)

unconfirmed idea Proposed as Iceverf's system of rule by a regent, with a succession crisis suggested to follow the regent's sudden death.^{[last-winter#91]}

Regent

Regent is the ruling title of the Velfald Regency and a symbol of imperial order there; the Winter Elves' strategy centers on destroying this title's legitimacy. ^{[heralds-b#182 · heralds-b#183]} A Regent has also intervened in Iceverf's marriage politics, proposing a noble from Altia as a match. ^{[heralds-b#166]}

Rosereach Legion Seer

Rosereach Legion Seer is a seer attached to the Rosereach Legion who tried and failed to suppress the omen-bearer's visions, secretly recording them instead, and who covertly contacted the Kardinal in Timbermere. ^{[last-winter#872]}

Shadow Broker

unconfirmed idea Proposed as a mysterious figure and former resident who claims to know the secrets of the Grimwater Quarter's curse.^{[last-winter#467]}

Shieldmaidens

Shieldmaidens are a unit of women warriors serving in the Count of Snowshield's army. ^{[heralds-b#90]} A Shieldmaiden squad can be surrounded and massacred in battle, taking heavy losses. ^{[heralds-b#94 · heralds-b#95]}

Snow Shield

Snow Shield is a countship whose count joined the party in exploring a tunnel, together with his soldiers. ^{[heralds-b#446]}

Squires and Aspirants

Stormwatch Ranger Squad Leader

Stormwatch Ranger Squad Leader is the title of the leader of an elite scouting and tracking patrol under Timbermire's command. ^{[heralds-b#376]}

Thirteenth Flame

Three Veiled Hands, The

The Three Veiled Hands are three figures who share Blackice's operational leadership, rotating frequently to avoid becoming targets and distrusting one another. ^{[heralds-b#397]}

Trade Broker

Trade Broker is Blackice's economic interface, a licensed "pressure valve" who keeps the city financially afloat and absorbs unrest. ^{[heralds-b#434 · heralds-b#435]} He is not protected by Blackice; his death would raise prices and spark rebellion. ^{[heralds-b#434 · heralds-b#435]}

Triton Captain

Velfald Regent is the Velfald ruler who hired a new party as mercenaries for the Eastern Front. ^{[last-winter#789 · last-winter#790]}

Winter King

Winter King is the father of the Frost Prince. ^{[heralds-a#81]}
