Draven came to Moonward and made an agreement with the Duke, and out of that agreement founded the Dark Crescent, a guild for royal assassinations and a spy web, which he masterminds in concert with Moonward. ^{[last-winter#382]} The Duke's son is one of the marriage candidates proposed for Astrid Frostweave: her family's uncle argues the match would make House Frostweave a strong ally of Moonward, though it would strain Iceverf's relations with the Regent. ^{[heralds-b#166]}
