The sources say little about this yet. Everything known is on this page; add to it as the campaign continues.
| Red Monk | |
|---|---|
| also known as First Warden, Silent Judge | |
| Role | Guardian of the Temple of the Red Seal's hidden entrance |
| Race / kind | Couatl (bound in a restrained humanoid guise) |
| GM canon | |
| first cited: [heralds-b#388] | |
The Red Monk is the restrained humanoid form worn by the Couatl, standing motionless before the hidden entrance to the Temple of the Red Seal and wanting no one to enter. [heralds-b#388]
Behavior
He never speaks and never steps aside on his own, and he does not strike first; but if he is touched, forced to move, or attacked, he strikes back — always with force meant to spare life, never to kill. [heralds-b#388 · heralds-b#389]
Transformation
If he is reduced to 0 hit points, he sheds this form and reverts to his true shape as the Couatl, then is teleported into the Inner Seal Chamber. [heralds-b#388 · heralds-b#389]
Unconfirmed ideas
The source conversations contain proposals for Red Monk that the campaign owner never confirmed. They are collected on Idea:Red Monk so they cannot be mistaken for canon.
