Vrael Olo — also called the Para-Elemental Plane of Ooze, or, by the name of its surface layer, the Swamp of Oblivion — is the liminal plane that lies on the border between the Elemental Plane of Water and the Elemental Plane of Earth. ^{[heralds-a#45]}

Overview

The swamp that travelers usually encounter is only the thinnest layer of the plane; beneath it, Vrael Olo is in truth an infinite vertical ecosystem. ^{[heralds-a#45]}

Down Below

Objects thrown into the swamp do not vanish — they sink, which makes the plane function as a natural vault that is extremely difficult to retrieve anything from. ^{[heralds-a#45]}
