Broodkiller (recorded in the transcripts under the Turkish name Soykıran) is the name goblins gave to Elnaril, the party's field leader — not a separate figure, but Elnaril himself. [heralds-a#13]

Overview

The name comes from Brood, the goblins' own word for their people: Broodkiller names the one who killed them. [heralds-a#13] Elnaril earned the name through actions he took in the past; he is not currently pursuing any goal against goblins. [heralds-a#15]

Grizzleflame's target

After the party destroyed Grizzleflame's band — killing close to seventy of his people — and Grizzleflame escaped them three times, he turned to hunting elves, seeking revenge on Broodkiller as his true enemy. [heralds-a#11]
