Minor Peoples

Autumn Elf

Autumn Elves

The Autumn Elves are an elven people who served Elnaril during the siege of Rosereach. ^{[heralds-a#106]} Their remains are found in an old quarter of Deadreach, and some of them have turned into Smokers. ^{[heralds-a#107]}

Blackice Goblins

The Blackice Goblins are goblins who live beneath the city and now work for Blackice. ^{[heralds-b#241 · heralds-b#242]}

Breathless Children

unconfirmed idea Proposed as a group of children born in the Vault, or hidden there from a young age, who have never seen Deadreach as a living city.^{[heralds-a#125]}

Brood

Brood is the name used for the goblins. ^{[heralds-a#13]} Elnaril's past actions against the Brood earned him the epithet Broodkiller among them. ^{[heralds-a#13 · heralds-a#15]}

Deep Gnome

The Deep Gnomes are an underground gnome people to which Gavrim Deepdelver belongs. ^{[last-winter#510]}

Frostfang Orcs

unconfirmed idea Proposed as orc auxiliaries the Winter Elves unleash for rapid raids on border villages.^{[heralds-b#187]}

Gnoll ambushers

A band of Gnoll ambushers infiltrated Hollowbridge during the night and planted explosives in its buildings. ^{[heralds-b#67]} They detonated the charges, damaging the buildings still left standing, and killed the surviving Winter Elf archers outside the town. ^{[heralds-b#67]}

Goblins

This band of goblins provides logistical support for Blackice and is one of the parties the Guard Captain can report to. ^{[heralds-b#444]}

Grey elves

The Grey Elves are the people all dark elves became after the death of the leader of the Dark Court. ^{[last-winter#382]}

Owlin

The Owlin are a bird-like, winged people. ^{[last-winter#510]} Priestess Valeria Greytalon belongs to this people. ^{[last-winter#512]}

Primordials

The Primordials are ancient, primal figures said in a puzzle text to have met each other "in the bright moon." ^{[last-winter#495]}

Serpentborns

The Serpentborns are a people believed to hold the Worm Gods as their own gods. ^{[heralds-b#118]}

Still-Breathers

unconfirmed idea Proposed as civilian survivors in Rosereach who learned not to panic, not to flee, and when to hold their breath, hiding in cellars and ruined catacombs; they do not trust outsiders.^{[heralds-a#24 · heralds-a#37]}

Winter Elf

unconfirmed idea Proposed as one of the imaginary enemy silhouettes recalled in a last-defense memory.^{[heralds-a#131]}

Winter-elf

unconfirmed idea Proposed that a changeling mole or spy, usable elsewhere in the campaign, could belong to this people.^{[heralds-b#366]}
